Foundation of a vulcanisation workshop

1958

Merger of several handicraft businesses into a cooperative

1972

Conversion of the cooperative into the “VEB Vulkanisieurwerk Caputh” nationally owned enterprise

1990

Former cooperative members apply for restitution; a tough fight begins with the Treuhandanstalt (trust agency) for the re-privatisation of the enterprise

1993

Successful conclusion of the trust negotiations with reassignment of the company; Takeover of two companies in the rubber trade in Berlin

1995

3rd prize for new business start up competition, from 117 participants

1998

Gold recognition medal from the Potsdam chamber of industry and commerce; Honorary certificate for Rainer Manigk for 40 years of company service from Potsdam chamber of industry and commerce

2000

Foundation of MaTec Gummiwerk GmbH by R. Manigk; Honorary certificate for 10 years of participation at the Hannover Messe

Innovation prize from Potsdam chamber of industry and commerce

2005

55th company anniversary of rubber production at the Caputh location;
Since 2005 MaTec has been an approved training company recognised by the Potsdam Chamber of Industry and Commerce
